If you like dirty, perverted, gritty comedy, Panty and Stocking is the anime for you. The show is about two angels that were kicked out of Heaven for bad behavior. Panty is a girl who loves sex and Stocking is a girl that loves sweets. After being kicked out of Heaven both girls were banished to a place called Daten City where they must hunt down ghosts with the aid of Garterbelt and collect Heaven Tokens so that they can buy their way back into Heaven, however; the two are constantly being sidetracked by their interests.
Panty and Stocking's animation style seems to mimic the style of The Poweruff Girls and Dead Leaves and since the show was picked up by Funimation I expect to see this on Adult Swim soon.

Not trying to destroy your thunder but this has been around longer then July 10th 2012. I had a friend from my old job introduced it to me months ago. And her and her flat mates would watch it all the time during college. I don't know if this is an official release as a show but it started out as a animation project for school a long time ago.
